Now We've Got Anonymous Eagles Calling Out Howie Roseman To Josina Anderson. Everything Is Awesome.
The Philadelphia Eagles men’s professional football team is 3-3 at the moment. It’s not great but it’s not awful either. A win in Dallas on Sunday night will have them in 1st place in the NFC East and the easiest portion of their schedule is still ahead of them. Obviously life would be better if their secondary wouldn’t get torched to a crisp every week and if their receivers didn’t constantly drop guaranteed touchdowns. But if they just clean it up a little bit and focus, this could easily be a 5-1 team right now which means that they can easily start racking up a few wins here. Again, all that needs to happen is for the team to stick together and to focus. As long as that locker room and entire organization is one cohesive unit, I have a good feeling about the Birds being able to turn it on here for these next 10 games.
Then Josina Anderson decides to pop in.
C’mon, man. What is Josina Anderson even doing here? If I were Doug Pederson, my very next move would be to tell anybody who has her number in their phone to delete it immediately. This is the last thing this team needs. Yes, obviously Howie stayed on brand with the Eagles and “dropped the ball” on the Ramsey trade. You know it, I know it, everybody knows it. So why even say it at that point? ESPECIALLY to Josina Anderson or anybody else in the media. It just doesn’t need to be a story while the team is getting ready to play Dallas for 1st place in the division. And if you’re going to say anything to the media about it, at least have the decency to put your name on it. There’s nothing worse than an anonymous quote story to really break up a locker room.
The good news is that there’s still time for Trader Howie to wake himself up and make something happen. Patrick Peterson and Chris Harris aren’t at the same level as Jalen Ramsey, but you also don’t need to delete every draft pick you have to get them. Do the thing, Howie. You know you want to.
